Crockpot Chili

One of the real benefits to participating in this blog is to share recipes.  You can either email me or make a photocopy of your favorite recipe (we are still waiting for recipes used at the Halloween party) and I will post an individual entry and add a "label" (look to the left side for link) to it so that all the recipes can be conveniently located.  So, I'll start and show you:

Crockpot Chili

2 lbs hamburger (or ground turkey)
1 onion (diced)
1 package chili seasoning
*****brown these items together; drain excess fat
2 cans kidney beans
2 cans pinto beans
2 cans black beans
*****don't drain beans
2 cans stewed diced tomatoes with green peppers and onions
1 small can diced green chiles
Diced red, yellow, orange and green bell peppers
Celery salt - to taste
Cumin - to taste
Salt & pepper - to taste
Another package of chili seasoning

Throw it all into a large crockpot.  Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours.  Add dollop of sour cream and grated sharp cheese to top it off.

Yum.  Ok, now your turn...
